Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of services from WI Tech Services, LLC ("WI Tech," "we," "us"), including estimates, installation work, and our text messaging program. By requesting or accepting our services, or by opting in to our texts, you agree to them.
Services, estimates and payment
Services. WI Tech provides low-voltage installation and related services, including security cameras, audio/video equipment, landscape lighting, and structured cabling and networking. The scope of each job is the work described in the signed or accepted estimate or work order.
Estimates. Estimates are valid for the period shown on the estimate. Final pricing may change if the site conditions, scope or materials differ from what was quoted. We will tell you before doing extra work that changes the price.
Payment. Payment is due by the date on the invoice. We accept the payment methods listed on the invoice. A deposit may be required before materials are ordered. Unpaid balances more than 30 days past due may be charged a late fee as stated on the invoice, and you are responsible for reasonable collection costs, to the extent the law allows.
Equipment ownership. Equipment we supply remains our property until your invoice is paid in full.
Your responsibilities. You agree to provide safe access to the work area, working power and internet where needed, and accurate information about the site. You confirm you own the property or have the owner's permission for the work. Hidden conditions, such as concealed wiring, asbestos or structural problems, may require additional work or a change in schedule. Permits and inspections required for your project will be identified in the estimate.
Warranty, liability and cancellation
Warranty. WI Tech Services, LLC warrants installation labor, parts and hardware for 12 months from the date of completion, and software and system configuration for 3 months from the date of completion. This warranty covers defects in workmanship. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, power surges, third-party modifications, or acts of nature. Contact us promptly if an issue arises within the warranty period. Manufacturer warranties on equipment may also apply.
No guarantee of security. Cameras, alarms and access systems reduce risk but cannot prevent theft, damage or injury. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, we do not monitor your system or dispatch emergency services, and we are not responsible for events a system fails to prevent or detect.
Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the job at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, such as lost data, lost profits or business interruption.
Changes and cancellation. Please give us at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Custom-ordered or special-order materials, and work already performed, are billable if you cancel after they are ordered or started.
Text messaging (SMS) terms
Program. WI Tech Services Customer Messages. By giving us your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts, you consent to receive messages from WI Tech Services, LLC at that number, including through automated technology.
Messages. Appointment scheduling and reminders, arrival and job-status updates, estimates and invoices, payment reminders, and replies to your questions. Message frequency varies with your project, typically a few messages per job.
Consent. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can still use our services without agreeing to texts.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt out and help. Reply STOP at any time to cancel, and START to rejoin. Reply HELP or contact us at the phone number or email below for help.
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy. We do not share mobile information or text-message consent with third parties for marketing. See our Privacy Policy for details.
General
Governing law. These terms are governed by Wisconsin law. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts serving Walworth County, Wisconsin, unless the law requires otherwise.
Changes. We may update these terms and will post the new version with a new effective date.
