This policy explains what information WI Tech Services, LLC collects, how we use it, and how our text messaging (SMS) program works. We do not sell your information, and we do not share mobile numbers or text-message consent with third parties for marketing.
Who we are and what we collect
WI Tech Services, LLC ("WI Tech," "we," "us") is a Wisconsin limited liability company at 523 Arbor Ridge Dr., Delavan, WI 53115. We install security cameras, audio/video equipment, landscape lighting, and structured cabling and networking.
We collect only what we need to quote, schedule, perform and bill for work:
- Contact details you give us: name, phone number, email, and service address.
- Job details: the work requested, site notes, photos taken on site, and equipment installed (including serial numbers).
- Billing details: estimates, invoices, and payment records. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
- Messages you send us by text, email or phone, including your consent to receive texts.
Text messaging (SMS) program
Consent. We send text messages only to customers and prospective customers who have given consent, such as by providing their mobile number on a quote request, intake form or work order and agreeing to receive texts, or by texting us first. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.
Message types. Appointment scheduling and reminders, arrival and job-status updates, estimates and invoices, payment reminders, and replies to your questions. We do not send third-party advertising.
Frequency. Message frequency varies with your project, typically a few messages per job.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
Opt out. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. You will get one confirmation message and no more after that. Reply START to rejoin.
Help. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at the phone number or email below.
Carriers. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your mobile information stays with us. No mobile information, including phone numbers and text-message consent, will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
How we use, share and protect information
We use your information to provide and schedule our services, communicate with you about your job, send estimates and invoices, honor warranties, keep required business and tax records, and comply with the law.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, such as our payment processor, accounting and invoicing tools, cloud storage, and our text-messaging provider, and only so they can perform those services for us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights. Service providers may not use your information for their own marketing.
We keep records for as long as needed for warranty, tax and legal purposes, then delete or anonymize them. We use reasonable safeguards, including password-protected accounts and access limited to the business owner, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your choices, children, changes and contact
Your choices. You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to stop texts or emails, at any time. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to records we must keep by law.
Children. Our services are for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes. We may update this policy and will post the new version with a new effective date. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept it.
